Fear not
One morning, a little girl named Lilly was playing in the garden. A small lizard ran across the wall.
Lilly immediately shouted:
“Amma! The lizard might fall! I’m scared!”
Her mother said: “Lilly, the lizard hasn’t come to scare you. It’s just running to find its food. When you feel afraid, watch calmly. You’ll realize there’s nothing to fear.”
Lilly looked at the lizard again. It wasn’t doing anything. She slowly went near it and said with a smile,
“You are so small! I got scared for no reason.”
From that day on, Lilly learned not to be afraid of small things and to face them bravely.
